- Tighten cylinder head bolts
Do not retighten cylinder head bolts.
If the tightening torque was exceeded on a cylinder head bolt.

Remove cylinder head bolt, check shank length, replace cylinder head bolt if necessary and tighten starting with tightening stage 1.
