Attach/Detach Engine Support Fixture - AR01.10-P-2400-18XGA

Engine 176, 177 in model 463 as of model year 2019

No parts of the body or limbs should be within the operating area of mechanical components when moving components.

1. Remove screws from brackets (13, 14) .
2. Push brackets (13, 14) out of the assembly area of the front lifting eye (7).
3. Attach front lifting eye (7).

4. Attach adaptation plates (6) to engine hoist (1).
5. Attach adapter (5) to adaptation plates (6).
6. Attach Engine hoist adaptations (10) to the engine hoist (1).

   Observe the manufacturer's assembly specifications and safety information.

7. Attach engine hoist (3) to the engine hoist (1).
8. Preset engine hoist (1).
9. Mount engine hoist (1) on the suspension strut towers and longitudinal members.

   Aid of helper required.

10. Adjust engine hoist (1), align horizontally and tighten threaded connections.
11. Attach mount (2) to front lifting eye (7).
12. Attach mount (8) with shackle to the rear right engine lifting lugs.
13. Attach mount (9) with shackle to the rear left engine lifting lugs.
14. Tighten tensioning screw of the mounts (2, 8, 9).

    Do not subject engine mounts to tension.

    The engine mount can get damaged otherwise.

15. Remove in the reverse order.
