| Remove/install | |||
| 1 | Switch off ignition and store transmitter key outside of transmitter range (min. 2 m). | ||
| 2 | Remove upper engine cover. | AR01.10-P-2405XGC | |
| 3 | Release and disconnect electrical connector (2) of the left overrun mode bypass air switchover valve (Y101/1). | ||
| 4 | Remove screws/bolts (1). | *BA09.41-P-1013-01X | |
| 5 | Remove left overrun mode bypass air switchover valve (Y101/1) and seal opening with a suitable stop plug. | Fig 2 | |
| 6 | Check sealing ring of the left overrun mode bypass air switchover valve (Y101/1) for damage. | If complaints are present, Install new left overrun mode bypass air switchover valve (Y101/1). |

| 7 | Install in the reverse order. | ||
| 8 | Read out and delete fault memory. | ||
