Check The Low-Temperature Circuit For Leaks - AR09.41-P-1011XGA

WARNING Risk of injury  on skin and eyes from scalding with healing coolant spurting out.Risk of poisoning  by swallowing coolant Open the cooling system only at coolant temperatures below 90 ° C. Slowly open the lid and release the excess pressure. Do not pour cool liquid into drinking containers.
Wear protective gloves, protective clothing and protective goggles.

REMOVING Remove     
1 Remove the lower engine compartment panels   AR61.20-P-1105XG
2 Remove the cap on the expansion tank (1)    
INSPECT Check     
3 Coolant level and antifreeze content of the coolant in the low-temperature circuit FLUID SPECIFICATION Engine176 in Model 463 from model 2019 cooling system *BF20.00-P-1001-06A 
  Check and correct if necessary FLUID SPECIFICATION Engine 177 in Model 463 from model 2019 cooling system *BF20.00-P-1001-02LA 
    FLUID SPECIFICATION Mixing ratio coolant *BF20.00-P-1001-04A 
4 Attach the test cap (2) to the expansion tank for the low-temperature circuit (1) SPECIAL TOOL Test cap Fig 1
5 Connect the pressure pump (3) to the test cap (2) SPECIAL TOOL Pressure pump Fig 2
6 Apply test pressure to the low-temperature circuit for 2 minutes NOTES Do not exceed the specified test pressure. Otherwise the low-temperature circuit will be damaged.  
    IMPORTANT There must be no loss of pressure within the 2 minutes. Test pressure for pressing the low-temperature circuit *BE20.30-P-1001-01D 
7 Carry out a visual inspection of components carrying coolant If there is a loss of pressure.  
    IMPORTANT Check all coolant-carrying components and connection points for condition and loss of coolant and, if necessary, eliminate the loss of coolant by taking appropriate measures.  
8 Pressure release button on pressure pump (3) SPECIAL TOOL Activate the pressure pump and release the pressure Fig 2
9 Pressure pump (3) on the test cap (2) SPECIAL TOOL Disconnect the pressure pump Fig 2
10 Remove the test cap (2) from the expansion tank for the low-temperature circuit (1) SPECIAL TOOL Test cap Fig 1
11 Check the coolant level and antifreeze content of the coolant and correct if necessary FLUID SPECIFICATION Engine 176 in Model 463 from model 2019 cooling system *BF20.00-P-1001-06A 
    FLUID SPECIFICATION Engine 177 in Model 463 from model 2019 cooling system *BF20.00-P-1001-02LA 
    FLUID SPECIFICATION Mixing ratio coolant *BF20.00-P-1001-04A 
INSTALLING Install     
12 The sealing cap on the expansion tank
Attach the low-temperature circuit (1)
   
13 Install the lower engine compartment panels   AR61.20-P-1105XG
