| 1 | Switch off ignition and store transmitter key outside of transmitter range (min. 2 m). | ||

| 3 | Remove cold air intake. | AR09.00-P-0002XGC | |
| 4 | Remove left and right air intake line to left and right air filter housing. | ||
| 5 | Remove center air duct segment (25). | ||
| 6 | Release and disconnect electrical connector (2) at fan unit (1). | ||
| 7 | Remove bleed line (3) at cooler and seal openings with suitable stop plugs. | AR20.20-P-7441-01RQ | |

| 8 | Release brackets (9) and detach fan unit (1) from cooler and remove in upward direction. | ||

Attach protective plate to cooler. | In the case of subsequent work in engine compartment. | WF58.50-P-0110-01A |
