| 2 | Remove bolt (1) | ||
| 3 | Unclip hose of the washer system at radiator trim (2) and remove radiator trim (2) | ||
| 4 | Unclip cable for hood opening on radiator crossmember (3) | ||
| 5 | Remove screw/bolts (4) at radiator crossmember (3) | *BA62.30-P-1001-01J | |
| 6 | Pry off radiator crossmember (3) and unclip coolant hose on radiator crossmember (3) | ||
| 7 | Remove radiator crossmember (3) | ||
| 8 | Unclip coolant hose from fan unit (5) | ||
| 9 | Remove screw/bolt (6) | Press foam rubber into the area of the screw/bolt somewhat to the side. |

| 10 | Disconnect electrical connection at electrical plug connection (8) | ||
| 11 | Detach retaining clamps (7) of fan unit (5) | ||
| 12 | Remove fan unit (5) upwards | ||
| 13 | Install in the reverse order | ||
