| Remove/install | |||
| 1 | Remove left air filter housing. | AR09.10-P-1151XGA | |
| 2 | Remove screw (3). | *BA00.10-P-1002-04A | |
| 3 | Remove purge line (6) from charge-air distributor (7) and seal openings with suitable stop plugs. | Fig 2 | |
| 4 | Detach purge line (6) and place outside the working area. | ||
| 5 | Release and disconnect electrical connector (4). | ||
| 6 | Remove screw (5) and remove left intake camshaft Hall sensor (B6/4). | *BA15.10-P-1002-03M | |
| 7 | Check sealing ring of left intake camshaft Hall sensor (B6/4) for damage. | If problems exist, ↓ replace left intake camshaft Hall sensor (B6/4). |

| 8 | Install in the reverse order. | ||
| 9 | Read out and delete fault memory. | ||
