| Remove/install | |||
| 1 | Put transmission into neutral position. | ||
| 2 | Release parking brake. | ||
| 3 | Remove lower center engine compartment lining. | AR61.20-P-1105XG | |
| 4 | Mark position of front axle differential propeller shaft (1) relative to flanges of front axle differential (4), transfer case (5) and the direction of installation. | ||
| 5 | Operate service brake and remove bolts (2, 3) | ||

| 6 | Remove front axle differential propeller shaft (1) downwards. | ||
| Check | |||
| 7 | Check front axle differential propeller shaft (1) and boots for wear and damage. | If a problem arises, ↓ replace front axle differential propeller shaft (1). |

| 8 | Install in the reverse order. |
