1	Suction off brake fluid from brake fluid expansion reservoir (1)
2	Connect brake fluid changer to brake fluid expansion reservoir (1)	Observe manufacturer's operating instructions. Bleeding pressure maximum 2 bar.
3	Remove wheel and tire assemblies
	Remove/install wheels, rotate if necessary		AP40.10-P-4050G
4	Remove left front brake pad contact sensor (S10/1) and right front brake pad contact sensor (S10/2)
5	Remove right rear brake pad contact sensor (S10/4)
6	Remove retaining springs (4) at all four floating brake calipers
7	Remove covers (2, 3) of guide pins at all floating brake calipers
8	Remove guide pins at all four floating brake calipers	First, remove all guide pins so that the bleeding process can be performed quickly. Do not remove floating brake calipers, which have not yet been bled, from floating brake caliper holder.
9	Tilt floating brake caliper on the right rear axle into the bleeding position (A)	The floating brake caliper must be tilted until the bleed screw (6) is at the highest point and therefore the air can escape when bleeding.
10	Fix brake piston in place in floating brake caliper using wooden block (5).
	Block of wood to hold back the brake piston	The wooden block (5) is only required on the rear axle.	WF58.50-P-4210-07A
11	Release bleed screw (6) and bleed floating brake caliper	To do so, remove dust boot and insert a suitable hose. Drain old brake fluid into a suitable container until clean, new brake fluid escapes bubble-free.
12	Tighten bleed screw (6) and insert dust boot	Bleed screw on rear axle floating caliper	*BA42.10-P-1001-17B
13	Install floating brake caliper on right rear axle and tighten guide pin	Bolt, pilot bushing/guide pin to brake caliper support	*BA42.10-P-1002-17B
14	Perform operation steps 9 to 13 on the left rear axle
15	Tilt floating brake caliper on the right front axle into the bleeding position (B)	The floating brake caliper must be tilted until the bleed screw (7) is at the highest point and therefore the air can escape when bleeding.
16	Release bleed screw (7) and bleed floating brake caliper	To do so, remove dust boot and insert a suitable hose. Drain old brake fluid into a suitable container until clean, new brake fluid escapes bubble-free.
17	Tighten bleed screw (7) and insert dust boot	Bleed screw to front axle floating brake caliper	*BA42.10-P-1001-03G
18	Install floating brake caliper on right front axle and tighten guide pin	Guide pin to brake caliper support	*BA42.10-P-1002-03G
19	Perform operation steps 15 to 17 on the left front axle
20	Attach retaining springs (4) at all four floating brake calipers
21	Attach covers (2, 3)
22	Attach left front brake pad contact sensor (S10/1) and right front brake pad contact sensor (S10/2)
23	Attach right rear brake pad contact sensor (S10/4)
24	Fit wheels
	Remove/install wheels, rotate if necessary		AP40.10-P-4050G
25	Detach brake fluid changer from brake fluid expansion reservoir (1)	Observe manufacturer's operating instructions.
26	Correct brake fluid level in brake fluid expansion reservoir (1)
	Hydraulic brake system - check fluid level, correct if necessary		AP42.50-P-4210G
