	Remove
1	Remove wheel and tire assemblies.		AP40.10-P-4050G
		On vehicles with drum brakes, only detach the front wheels.
	Measure
2	Measure brake lining thickness using vernier caliper.	Model 460, 461; model 463 up to model year 2012 Observe the wear limit to ensure that the values are not exceeded before the next maintenance service.

4	Check brake discs for score marks, cracks, corrosion and soiling (e.g. oil, grease).	If a crack length > 25 mm (0.98 inches), gaping cracks or score marks deeper than 0.5 mm (0.02 inches) or severe corrosion is present, ↓ Replace steel brake discs. After obtaining special order. If soiling (e.g. oil, grease) is present, ↓ clean brake discs and replace if necessary. After obtaining special order.
5	Check brake discs for axial runout if necessary.
