| 4 | Disconnect front brake wear sensor (8) from electrical connection for front brake wear sensor (9) | ||
| 5 | Pull front brake wear sensor (8) out of holder on spring steel sheet (3) | ||
| 6 | Carefully pull front brake wear sensor (8) out of brake lining (5) | ||
| 7 | Remove screw/bolt (1) and take off support (2) of spring steel sheet (3) | *BA42.10-P-1006-02B | |
| 8 | Place electrical connection for front brake wear sensor (9) to one side | ||
| 9 | Knock out retaining pins (4) using a drift | ||
| 10 | Remove spring steel sheet (3) | ||
| 11 | Remove break pads (5) from brake caliper (7) | ||

| 12 | Check that spring steel sheet (3) and support (2) are not damaged and are in good condition | If a problem arises ↓ Replace spring steel sheet (3) and/or support (2) |

| 17 | Clean contact surfaces of brake linings (5) in brake caliper (7) | While doing so, do not damage the dust boots on the brake piston. Do not use sharp-edged or pointy tools. Otherwise the brake caliper (2) will be damaged. |
