| 2 | Release and disconnect electrical connector at brake fluid level switch (S11). | ||
| 3 | Unscrew cap and remove sieve from brake fluid reservoir (1). | ||
| 4 | Suction off brake fluid from brake fluid reservoir (1). | ||

| 6 | Pull brake fluid reservoir (1) out of master brake cylinder. | Collect escaping brake fluid with an absorbent rag. Otherwise damage can occur to the vehicle paint. Seal connections at master brake cylinder. This prevents the ingress of foreign objects. |

| 7 | Install in reverse order. | ||

| 8 | Check brake system in area of brake fluid reservoir (1) for leak tightness. | ||
| 9 | Check fluid level in brake fluid reservoir (1), and correct if necessary. |
