| Remove | |||
| 1 | Remove bottom trim for instrument panel on driver's side. | AR68.10-P-1501XG | |
| 2 | Release and disconnect electrical connector (1) at brake light switch (S9/1). | ||
| 3 | Remove brake light switch (S9/1). | ||
| 4 | Press catches (arrows) together and remove holder (2). | ||
| Install | |||
| 5 | Depress brake pedal (3) and insert brake light switch (S9/1) with holder (2). | ||
| 6 | Position feeler gauge between brake light switch (S9/1) and brake pedal (3). | The gap between the brake light switch (S9/1) and the brake pedal (3) must be 2.5 mm. Otherwise faults can occur in the ESP®. |
