	Risk of poisoning  from swallowing brake fluid. Risk of injury  from skin and eye contact with brake fluid	Only pour brake fluid into suitable and appropriately marked containers. Wear protective clothing and eye protection when handling brake fluid.	AS42.50-Z-0001-01A

	Remove/install
1	Lift/jack up vehicle		AR00.60-P-1000G
	Clean
2	Clean area surrounding connecting points to be opened on the brake system	Before opening the brake system the area around the separation point should be cleaned thoroughly. Even the smallest particles of dirt, introduced into the hydraulic components, can lead to malfunctions and a total failure of the brake system. Only use clean, lint free rags and cleaner free of mineral oil. Do not use any compressed-air for cleaning when the brake system is open.
	Perform operation steps 3 to 6 only for removal of brake hoses (1) from brake calipers
3	Detach rear complete wheels

4	Detach brake line (2) from brake hose (1)	It must be ensured that the components are installed so that they do not chafe against other components and that they are not subject to torsion. Brake line to brake hose	*BA42.10-P-1001-04B

5	Collect any escaping brake fluid using a suitable container
6	Seal exposed connections with plugs	Record plug	Fig 4
7	Detach cable tie (5) from brake hose (1)	Replace cable tie (5).
8	Detach brake hose (1) from brake caliper	It must be ensured that the components are installed so that they do not chafe against other components and that they are not subject to torsion.

9	Collect any escaping brake fluid using a suitable container
10	Seal exposed connections with plugs	Record plug	Fig 4
	Perform operation steps 7 to 8 only for removal of brake hoses (4) from vehicle body at rear axle
11	Detach upper and lower brake lines (3) from brake hoses (4)	It must be ensured that the components are installed so that they do not chafe against other components and that they are not subject to torsion. It must be ensured that the retaining springs (7) are seated correctly.

12	Collect any escaping brake fluid using a suitable container
13	Seal exposed connections with plugs	Record plug	Fig 4
14	Pull brake hoses (4) out of rubber retainers (8)
15	Install in the reverse order
