	Remove/install
1	Remove air duct segment and bracket of center console		AR28.19-P-1003GW
2	Unscrew adjusting nuts (8) from parking brake lever
3	Unhook brake cable of parking brake (1) from brake caliper (7) and guide out of support on brake caliper (7)
4	Detach retaining clamps (3) from rear axle housing (2)	Model 463.234 as of 12/1/00 up to model year 2019 with code ZQ0 (G 500 4x42 ) Screw/bolt, hand brake cable to carrier plate	*BA42.20-P-1002-01B
5	Remove retaining bracket (4) for rear axle level sensor	Only when removing brake cable of parking brake (1) from left side of vehicle.
6	Detach hose clamp (5) from trailing arm (6)
7	Pull brake cable of parking brake (1) out of rubber grommet on underfloor and remove	It is important to note that the brake cables of the parking brake (1) have different lengths.
8	Install in the reverse order
	Check
9	Check and adjust parking brake on roller dynamometer	Model 463.234 up to model year 2019 with code ZQ0 (G 500 4x42)	AR42.20-P-0550GWX
