Set venting pressure on filling unit to 2.0 bar.
Remove covers from vent screws on brake calipers (1, 2, 3, 4).
Model 463.276 and 463.277

Two vent screws each are located on the front brake calipers (3, 4).
Connect vent hose of bleed bottle (7) to vent screw of brake caliper (1).
Observe brake caliper (1, 2, 3, 4) sequence, when venting the brake system's hydraulic system.

Otherwise, the brake system's hydraulic system will not be vented correctly and the brake system will be inoperative.
Open vent screw.
1. 5.1) Only when bleeding the brake system, after opening the hydraulic system for repair purposes.
  Fully depress brake pedal several times in succession until new brake fluid exits free of bubbles at the vent screw.
  
  To bleed the brake system correctly it is absolutely essential to pump the brake pedal throughout the entire bleeding process.
  
  Otherwise brake system malfunctions and a failure of the brake system can occur due to residual air.
  
  Do not pump the brake pedal in a jerking manner but instead release it slowly.
  
  Otherwise, the hydraulic system has air in it again.
  
  Leave vent screw open during the entire pumping procedure.
  
  The required total quantity of brake fluid is approx. 1.5 l.
2. 5.2) Only when replacing the brake fluid, when the brake system's hydraulic system was not opened beforehand for repair purposes.
  Keep vent screw open until new brake fluid flows out.
  
  Pumping of the brake pedal is not necessary.
  
  The required total quantity of brake fluid is approx. 0.75 l.
Close vent screw.
Detach vent hose of bleed bottle (7) from vent screw of brake caliper (1).
Repeat operation steps 3 to 7 successively in the brake caliper (2, 3, 4) sequence again.
Observe brake caliper (1, 2, 3, 4) sequence when venting the brake system's hydraulic system. Otherwise, the brake system's hydraulic system will not be vented correctly and the brake system will be inoperative.

Model 463.276 and 463.277

On the brake calipers (3, 4) open the vent screw that is located right next to the brake hose first. Then open the outer vent screw.
Fit covers of vent screws on brake calipers (1, 2, 3, 4).
