Basic Adjustment Of Tilting/Sliding Roof Motor - AR77.20-P-1100-05A

Model 463 up to model year 2019 with code D27 (Electric tilting/sliding glass sunroof) 

Centering bolts for sliding roof

WF58.50-P-7720-01A

1. Remove left edge guard (1) from the rear pillar.
2. Disconnect electrical connector from the left rear speaker (H4/7h2).

   On the rear of the left rear pillar panel (2).

3. Remove left rear pillar panel (2).
4. Move tilting/sliding roof into tilting position.

5. Pull handwheel (arrow) out of tilting/sliding roof motor completely and press back in approx 3 to 4 mm

   The tilting/sliding roof may not be actuated electrically when the handwheel (arrow) is pulled out.

6. Turn handwheel (arrow) until the centering pin can be fully inserted into the centering bore on the tilting/sliding roof motor. The notch on the handwheel (arrow) must point in the direction of the centering bore.

   The tilting/sliding roof may not be actuated electrically when the centering pin is inserted.

   The centering pin may otherwise be jammed.

7. Press handwheel (arrow) in completely.
8. Remove centering pin.
9. Connect electrical connector of left rear speaker (H4/7h2).
10. Install left rear pillar panel (2).
11. Attach left edge guard (1) to the rear pillar.
