| 1 | Release glass adjustment drive at left outside mirror (M21/1) or at right outside mirror (M21/2). | AR88.70-P-9060XG | |
| 2 | Remove screws (1, 2). | ||
| 3 | Release catch hooks (arrows A). | ||
| 4 | Remove outside mirror frame (3) until GPS antenna (A2/23) can be accessed. | ||
| 5 | Disconnect GPS antenna (A2/23) from outside mirror frame (3) by turning and remove outside mirror frame (3). | ||
| 6 | Release catch hooks (arrows B) at retaining tabs (5.1). | ||
| 7 | Lift outside mirror trim (4) in direction of arrow (E). | ||
| 8 | Remove outside mirror trim (4) in direction of arrow (F) and in this connection release catch hooks (arrows C) at outside mirror housing (5). | ||
| 9 | Remove outside mirror trim (4) until electrical connector (6) can be accessed. | ||
| 10 | Disconnect electrical connector (6) and remove outside mirror trim (4). | ||
| 11 | Remove left outside mirror turn signal lamp (E6/5) or right outside mirror turn signal lamp (E6/6). | Only when replacing outside mirror trim (4). | AR82.25-P-4726XG |
| 12 | Install in reverse order. |
