WARNING Injury hazard from pinching and crushing, in extreme cases extremities can even be cut off when caught in windshield wiper mechanism. When working on the windshield wiper mechanism, always switch off the ignition and store transmitter key outside of transmission range (at least 2 m). AS82.30-Z-0001-01A
  Risk of fire and explosion  caused by ignition of window washing fluid or antifreeze and their vapors. Risk of poisoning  caused by swallowing window washing fluid or antifreeze or inhaling their vapors. Risk of injury  or physical irritations caused by contact of window washing fluid or antifreeze with eyes, mucous membranes or skin. Wear protective clothing and tight-fitting safety glasses. No open flames, fire or ignition sources. Avoid contact with eyes, mucous membranes and skin. When working with window washing fluids or antifreeze, do not eat, drink, or smoke. Do not inhale vapors and ensure sufficient ventilation in the working area. Store window washing fluid and antifreeze leakfree in safely closed original containers and out of the reach of children. AS82.35-Z-0001-01A
  Preparatory activity     
1 Close hood.    
2 Close rear-end door, doors, sliding sunroof and the side windows.    
3 Switch electronic ignition lock control unit to position "2" (circuit 15).    
4 Switch on low beams.    
  Check/correct     
5 Check spray nozzles of windshield washer system on windshield for proper operation and setting. If the spray jet does not impact in the marked area on the windshield,

Correct the adjustment if necessary.
SPECIAL TOOL Adjusting tool
If the spray nozzle is clogged.

Clean spray nozzle and/or blow out with compressed air from inside to outside or replace spray nozzle.
IMPORTANT After obtaining special order.

6 Check washer system spray nozzle on rear window for proper operation and setting. If the spray jet does not impact in the marked area on the rear window,

adjust spray nozzle.
SPECIAL TOOL Adjusting tool
If the spray nozzle is clogged.

Clean spray nozzle and/or blow out with compressed air from inside to outside or replace spray nozzle.
IMPORTANT After obtaining special order.

7 Check park position of left windshield wiper blade (1) and right windshield wiper blade (2) on the windshield. IMPORTANT Wiper blade ends must be located at markings "A" and "B" (see arrows) on windshield and they may be offset by no more than 10 mm (0.39 Inch) upwards or downwards.
If the ends of the wiper blades deviate from the park position,

Check and adjust wiper arms.
IMPORTANT After obtaining special order.
 
8 Spray water using windshield washer system onto windshield.    
9 Switch on the windshield wipers at highest setting.    
10 Check setting of wiper arms on windshield. NOTES
The left windshield wiper blade (1) and right windshield wiper blade (2) must not collide with the A-pillar or cowl.
Damage can otherwise occur.
If problems are determined,

rectify the problems.
IMPORTANT After obtaining special order.
 
11 Check park position for rear window wiper blade (3) on rear window. NOTES
The rear window wiper blade (3) must not make contact with the rear-end door in the parked position.
Damage can otherwise occur.
If rear window wiper blade (3) makes contact with rear-end door in parked position,

Check and adjust wiper arm.
IMPORTANT After obtaining special order.
 
12 Spray water using windshield washer system onto rear window.    
13 Switch on windshield wiper on rear window at its highest setting.    
14 Check setting of wiper arm on rear window. The rear window wiper blade (3) must not impact with the rear-end door.
Damage can otherwise occur.
If problems are determined,

rectify the problems.
IMPORTANT After obtaining special order.
 
15 Check spray nozzles of headlamp cleaning system for proper operation. If the spray jet does not impact in the area of the light source on the headlamp lenses,

adjust spray nozzle.
SPECIAL TOOL Adjusting tool
If the spray nozzle is clogged.
Clean spray nozzle and/or blow out with compressed air from inside to outside or replace spray nozzle.
IMPORTANT After obtaining special order.

  Finishing activity     
16 Switch off low beams.    
17 Switch electronic ignition lock control unit to position "0".    
18 Check/correct fluid level of windshield washer system.   AP82.35-P-8210GA
