| 1 | Remove front seat and lay it on its side. | AR91.10-P-1000XG | |
| 2 | Disconnect electrical connector at driver seat fore/aft adjustment seat adjustment motor (M27/1) or at front passenger seat fore/aft adjustment seat adjustment motor (M28/1). | ||
| 3 | Push catch hooks (3) to one side and remove bracket (4). | ||
| 4 | Unclip shaft (2) from brackets of rail (1). | ||
| 5 | Lift driver seat fore/aft adjustment seat adjustment motor (M27/1) or front passenger seat fore/aft adjustment seat adjustment motor (M28/1) at entrance of shaft (2), bend shaft (2) and pull out. | Otherwise the guide pins (5) will be damaged. |

| 6 | Remove driver seat fore/aft adjustment seat adjustment motor (M27/1) or front passenger seat fore/aft adjustment seat adjustment motor (M28/1) with shafts (2, 6) from rail (1). | ||

| 7 | Pull shafts (2, 6) out of driver seat fore/aft adjustment seat adjustment motor (M27/1) or out of front passenger seat fore/aft adjustment seat adjustment motor (M28/1) and check for wear. | When replacing the driver seat fore/aft adjustment seat adjustment motor (M27/1) or the front passenger seat fore/aft adjustment seat adjustment motor (M28/1). If the shafts (2, 6) are damaged, ↓ replace the respective shaft (2, 6). |
