	Risk of injury  caused by performing testing or repair work on airbag or emergency tensioning retractor units.	Store airbag units with deployment side facing up; do not expose to temperatures greater than 100 °C. When working on these units, disconnect the power supply. 	Remove/install
1	Switch off ignition and store transmitter key outside of the transmission range (for at least 2 minutes).
2	Disconnect ground line from battery. 3	Remove bolts (1) on rear of steering wheel (2) and lift off airbag unit (4).	Screw/bolt, airbag to steering wheel	*BA91.60-P-1001-01B

4	Release and disconnect electrical connector (5).
5	Release and disconnect electrical connection (3).	Make sure that the electrical connector (3) engages properly. Removal lever	Fig 2
6	Remove airbag unit (4) from steering wheel (2).
7	Dispose of removed airbag unit (4) properly.	Only when replacing airbag unit (4).
8	Install in the reverse order.
	Check
9	Check Supplemental Restraint System (SRS) with diagnostic device.	Only when replacing airbag unit (4).
