Drain/Pour In Coolant - AR20.00-P-1142MNF

WARNING Risk of injury  to skin and eyes suffering scalding from contact with hot coolant spray. Risk of poisoning  from swallowing coolant Open the cooling system only at coolant temperatures below 90 ° C. Slowly open the lid and release the excess pressure. Do not pour coolant into drinking containers.
Wear protective gloves, protective clothing and protective goggles.

  Notes on coolant   AH20.00-N-2080-01A 
  Drain     
1 Slowly open and remove the cap (1) of the coolant expansion tank (2)    
2 Push the drain hose (3) onto the drain socket (4) on the cooler (5)    
3 Loosen the drain plug (6) on the cooler (5) with a suitable screwdriver and drain the coolant NOTES
Unscrew the drain plug (6) just enough to allow the coolant to flow off. Otherwise the drain plug (6) will be permanently damaged.
IMPORTANT Collect coolant in a suitable container.
Observe regulations for the disposal of coolant.
 
4 Tighten the drain screw (6) and remove the drain hose (3)    
  Pour in     
5 Pour in coolant and bleed engine cooling system.   AR20.00-P-1142-04A 
    IMPORTANT Use clean coolant.

INSPECT Check     
6 Check engine cooling system for leaks   AR20.00-P-1010MNF 
WARNING Risk of accident  from vehicle starting off by itself when engine running. Risk of injury  (bruises and burns) resulting from working on the engine while it is being started or when it is running. Secure vehicle to prevent it from starting off by itself. Wear closed and snug-fitting work clothes. Do not touch hot or rotating parts. AS00.00-Z-0005-01A
7 Perform an engine test run, check engine cooling system for proper operation.
