Location
The stealth lights control unit is mounted on a bracket under the front passenger seat.

The stealth lights control unit is responsible for the following:

Read in sensors and signals
The input factors are read in via the following connections:
- Direct line
- Center console switch LIN (LIN B12)
- Roof LIN (LIN B13)
- Battery sensor-LIN (LIN B15)
- Stealth lights LIN (LIN B40)
- Interior CAN (CAN B)
- Instrument cluster CAN (CAN IC)
Direct line
The signals from the following components are read via direct lines:
- Interior temperature sensor (B10/4) (except code F16 (Electric sliding roof with tilting function))
- Stealth lights rotary light switch (S1/2)
Center console switch LIN
The signals from the SAM control unit (N10) are read in over the center console switch LIN.
Roof LIN
Additional signals from the SAM control unit are read in via the roof LIN.
Battery sensor LIN
Additional signals from the SAM control unit are read in over the battery sensor LIN.
Stealth lights LIN
The signals from the following components are read in over the stealth lights LIN:
- Overhead control panel control unit (N70) (with code F16 (Electric sliding roof with tilting function))
- Control panel lower control panel (N72)
- Upper control panel control unit (N72/1)
Interior CAN
The signals are read in by the stealth lights control unit over the interior CAN.
The functions that use these signals are described in the individual function descriptions (see block diagram or function schematic).
Instrument cluster CAN
The stealth lights control unit reads in signals from the instrument cluster (A1) over the instrument cluster CAN.

Evaluation of input factors
The input factors that have been read in are evaluated by the integrated microprocessor and the relevant components are then actuated.
Controlling functions
The stealth lights control unit controls the stealth lights function.
Actuation of components
The stealth lights control unit actuates the SAM control unit over direct lines.
Transmitting signals
The signals are transmitted via the following connections:
- Center console switch LIN
- Roof LIN
- Battery sensor LIN
- Stealth lights LIN
- Interior CAN
- Instrument cluster CAN
Center console switch LIN
The stealth lights control unit sends signals over the center console switch LIN to the SAM control unit.
Roof LIN
The stealth lights control unit sends additional signals over the roof LIN to the SAM control unit.
Battery sensor LIN
The stealth lights control unit sends additional signals over the battery sensor LIN to the SAM control unit.
Stealth lights LIN
The stealth lights control unit sends signals over the stealth lights LIN to the following components:
- Overhead control panel control unit (with code F16 (Electric sliding roof with tilt function))
- Lower control panel control unit
- Upper control panel control unit
Interior CAN
The signals are sent by the stealth lights control unit over the interior CAN.

Instrument cluster CAN
The stealth lights control unit sends signals over the instrument cluster CAN to the instrument cluster.

Switching of relays
The following relays are switched by the stealth lights control unit:
- Circuit 15R relay (K41/1)
- Stealth brake light relay (K51/6)
- Stealth lights ground connection relay 1 (K51/18k1)
- Stealth lights ground connection relay 3 (K51/18k3)
- Interior illumination relay 1 (K117k1)
- Interior illumination relay 2 (K117k2)
