The following operation steps are shown on model 463 on the left side of the vehicle and must be performed analogously on the right side in the event of damage.

1. Determine the installation position of the ground bolt (3).
2. Separate the ground bolt (3) from the firewall paneling (1) with the cutting disk.
3. Fold down sealing bar (2) in the repair area (arrows).

   In order to enable the removal of the firewall paneling (1).

4. Scribe separation lines on firewall paneling (1) (areas A, B, C and D).
5. Separate firewall paneling (1) at separating points with body saw or cutting disk (areas A, B, C and D).

   Do not damage underlying metal sheets.

6. Remove damaged firewall paneling (1).
7. Grind mating surfaces down to bare metal in cross-hatched areas.
8. Remove grinding and sawing shavings using wet/dry vacuum cleaner.
