Shown on left side of vehicle 

1. Expose inert gas welds on the left and right side of the vehicle on the crossmember under the engine (1) and cut out (areas A).
2. Remove crossmember under the engine (1).

3. Sand down mating surfaces to bare metal in cross-hatched areas.
4. Remove grinding dust.
