| 1 | Remove 12 V socket from stowage compartment at center console. | AR54.10-P-1007XG | |
| 2 | Remove ashtray and/or cupholder from stowage compartment at center console. | Only if installed. | |
| 3 | Release center console (1) and slide towards rear until screws (2, 4) can be accessed. | AR68.20-P-2000XG | |
| 4 | Unscrew bolts (2). | ||
| 5 | Remove cover (3). | ||
| 6 | Remove the screws (4). | ||
| 7 | Lift cover on center console (5) and unclip at rear at retaining clips (6). | ||
| 8 | Disconnect electrical connectors of Audio/COMAND control panel (A40/9). | ||
| 9 | Remove cover on center console (5). | ||
| 10 | Remove Audio/COMAND control panel (A40/9). | Only when replacing cover on center console (5). | AR54.21-P-0500XG |
| 11 | Install in reverse order. |
