The following operation steps are shown on the left side of the vehicle. In case of damage on the right side of the vehicle, these steps must be performed analogously.

1. Mark separating point on longitudinal member (1) and on angle bracket (2) and cut (area A).

   Dimensions: 

   a = approx. 45 mm

   Cut through longitudinal member (1) and angle bracket (2) completely.

2. Unscrew screw (4).
3. Remove longitudinal member (1) with angle bracket (2) and bracket (3).

4. Sand down mating surfaces to bare metal in cross-hatched areas.
5. Remove grinding dust and wood shavings.
