Partially Install Upper Front Longitudinal Member - Ar62.20-P-1287-03XG

as of model year 2019 

The following operation steps are shown on the left side of the vehicle. In case of damage on the right side of the vehicle, these steps must be performed analogously.

The higher-level service information as well as the safety information must be observed.

1. Install bracket (3) and fix in place with screw (4).
2. Install mounting support for connecting carrier at longitudinal member (1).

   The straightener mounting point is located on connecting carrier mounting support.

3. Install longitudinal member (1), fit and fix in place with straightener.
4. Longitudinal member (1) and bracket (3) (areas A).

   Inert gas weld in intervals and allow welding area to cool down in between. This reduces heat distortion.

5. Longitudinal member (1) and bracket (3) (areas B).

   Inert gas weld in intervals and allow welding area to cool down in between. This reduces heat distortion.

6. Install front fender.
7. Fit and fix in place angle bracket (2).
8. Remove front fender.
9. Angle bracket (2) (area C).
10. Angle bracket (2) (area B).

11. Tighten screw (4).
