1. Install crossmember (2) and fit and fix in place.
2. Crossmember (2) (areas A).

   The following operation steps, 3 to 8, are shown on the left side of the vehicle and must be performed in the same way on the right side of the vehicle.

3. Install reinforcements (3, 4) and fit and fix in place.
4. Drill rivet holes in reinforcements (3, 4) with Ø 6.7 mm (B areas).
5. Remote reinforcements (3, 4).
6. Deburr rivet holes in reinforcements (3, 4) and in body on both sides.
7. Remove drilling chips.
8. Coat insides of riveted joints with zinc dust paint.

   The following operation steps, 9 to 12, are shown on the left side of the vehicle and must be performed in the same way on the right side of the vehicle.

9. Install reinforcements (3, 4) and fix in place.
10. Rivet reinforcements (3, 4) with Ø 6.5x12.5 rivets (C₁ areas).
11. Rivet reinforcements (3, 4) with Ø 6.5x14.5 rivets (C₂ areas).
12. Reinforcements (3, 4) (D areas).

13. Install paneling (1) and fit and fix in place.
14. Drill rivet holes in paneling (1) with Ø 6.7 mm (E, F areas).

    Drill rivet holes through existing rivet holes in body (E areas).

15. Remove paneling (1).
16. Deburr rivet holes in paneling (1) and body on both sides.
17. Remove drilling chips.
18. Coat insides of riveted joints with zinc dust paint (F areas).

    The following operation steps, 19 and 20, are shown on the left side of the vehicle and must be performed in the same way on the right side of the vehicle.

19. Apply the 2-component adhesive to the body in the cross-hatched areas (H₁ , H₂ areas).

    Apply the 2-component adhesive between the sheet-metal plates. During installation, compensate for stripped-off 2-component adhesive by applying more (H₁ areas).

    Observe pretreatment of bonding surfaces and manufacturer's specifications for drying and processing time of 2-component adhesive.

20. Apply sealant to foam parts in crosshatched areas (G areas).

21. Install paneling (1) and fix in place.
22. Rivet paneling (1) with Ø 6.4x12 rivets (K areas).
23. Paneling (1) (I areas).
