	Remove/install
	Risk of injury  caused by scraping or cutting body parts on sharp vehicle parts	Always wear protective gloves when working on or near sharp and non-deburred vehicle parts. Deburr repair panels. Model 463 up to model year 2019 with code EZ9 (Active Distance Assist DISTRONIC)	AS00.00-Z-0017-01A

1	Switch off ignition
2	Remove cover (1) on bumper
3	Pull DISTRONIC electric controller unit (A89) out of bracket	The DISTRONIC electric controller unit (A89) is engaged with three ball studs in the bracket.
4	Install in the reverse order
5	Adjust STAR DIAGNOSIS and adjust DISTRONIC electric controller unit (A89)	Model 463 up to model year 2019 with code EZ9 (Active Distance Assist DISTRONIC) Adjustment of the DISTRONIC electric controller unit (A89) is necessary after: Replacing Detaching/attaching Mechanical damage Accident repairs in front area Alterations in the camber, track width, caster, or to the level of the vehicle at the front or rear axle	AD00.00-P-2000-04A
