Programming using XD DVD.

Please also refer to the latest procedure description in Xentry Diagnostics (XD).

1. Start Xentry Diagnostics (XD) and select vehicle Model.
2. Select control unit.
3. Select menu item "control unit adaptations".
4. Select menu item "control unit programming".
5. Confirm notes on control unit programming specific to a single control unit.

   Only with Star Diagnosis.

6. Select menu item "Online".
7. With new software, confirm the procedure and program the control unit.

   Display appears if new software is present.

8. Entry of reason for control unit programming.
9. Perform the subsequent programming procedure as indicated by the menus in Xentry Diagnostics (XD).
10. Eliminate the cause of the fault message using the test steps in the "Fault message" menu.

    Only perform this operation step if no communication (communication error) is possible between XD and the control unit.

    If the cause of the fault cannot be found or eliminated, please inform the Star Diagnosis User Help Desk. Replace the control unit after consultation with the STAR DIAGNOSIS User Help Desk.
