1. Unscrew bolts (arrows) and clamp bracket for BA [RFH] control unit (N62) under battery holder.

2. Connect wiring harness at BA [RFH] control unit (N62).
3. Secure BA [RFH] control unit (N62) to bracket.

4. Connect (brown) line of wiring harness to pin 3 of BA [RFH] connector (X26/26).

   Remove ring eyelet and replace with relevant connector.

5. Connect (red) line of wiring harness to pin 2 of BA [RFH] connector (X26/26).
6. Connect (purple/white) line of wiring harness to pin 1 of BA [RFH] connector (X26/26).

7. Connect variant coding resistor (1, 000 ohms) (R31) to wiring harness no. 1 and secure in place using tie straps.
8. Connect treble/bass setting connector (X60/3).

   Connect no. 2 (black and black/white).

9. Connect rear bumper sensors connector (X26/27).

10. Cut through (green) line of wiring harness no. 3.

    The (green) line must be cut so that the continuous signal of the warning indicator sounds when the distance between the vehicle and an obstacle reaches 50 cm.

1. 11.1 Connect BA [RFH] connector (A44/1x1).

   Wrap damping material around BA [RFH] connector (A44/1x1).

   Only with Cabriolets 

2. 11.2 Connect BA [RFH] connector (A44/1x1).

   Secure BA [RFH] connector (A44/1x1) to vehicle floor using adhesive tape.
