- Mark recess at rear right and rear left of bumper.
- Cut out recess at rear right and rear left of bumper.
- Mark installation openings for the sensors on the bumper corners.
- Drill installation openings and deburr edges.
- File a groove in bottom of installation opening (arrow A).
File groove according to size of catch on sensor cover.
- Mark installation openings for sensors on bumper on left and right.
- Drill installation openings and deburr edges.
- Remove cross rib (arrow B) in bumper.
- File a groove in bottom of installation opening (arrow C).
- Paint rear bumper PTS sensor unit (A43).
- Fit decoupling ring (arrow) onto rear bumper PTS sensor unit (A43).
- Clip sensor cover (1) into mount (2) and insert into installation opening in bumper.
- Fit on compensating piece (3) and attach to bracket (4).
- Insert rear bumper PTS sensor unit (A43) into brackets in bumper.
