	Check
1	Check condition of vehicle	Before measuring the vehicle level, make sure that no suspension components have been damaged or exhibit any wear. For the vehicle level check, all vehicle parts must be installed and the vehicle completed and in a ready to drive condition. The vehicle must not be loaded.
2	Check and correct tire inflation pressure
3	Drive the vehicle onto the measuring station and secure using the parking brake	The vehicle lift must be horizontal on the measuring station.
4	Unlock turnplates and sliding platforms
5	Clean measuring ranges (a, b)
6	Mount measurement sensor (086a) in measuring range (a) and measure vehicle level at measuring point 1 (front left) and measuring point 2 (front right)	Assign suspension data The connecting cable (086b) for the measurement sensor (086a) must face towards the vehicle center. Otherwise the measurement will be inaccurate. Save measured values.	AR40.20-P-0203LOA
7	Mount measurement sensor (086a) in measuring range (b) and measure vehicle level at measuring point 3 (rear left) and measuring point 4 (rear right)	Assign suspension data The connecting cable (086b) for the measurement sensor (086a) must face towards the vehicle center. 8	Check maximum permissible difference in vehicle level between left and right side of vehicle at front axle	Assign suspension data The specified test tolerance applies only when checking the vehicle level but not for calibration.	AR40.20-P-0203LOA
9	Check maximum permissible difference in vehicle level between left and right side of vehicle at rear axle	Assign suspension data The specified test tolerance applies only when checking the vehicle level but not for calibration.	AR40.20-P-0203LOA
