Risk of injury  to skin and eyes due to handling of transmission oil. Health risk caused by swallowing transmission oil

Wear protective gloves, protective clothing and safety glasses. Do not pour transmission oil into beverage bottles.

Drain off 

1. Remove filling screw (3).
2. Remove drain screw (2) and collect hypoid gear oil in a suitable container.
3. Remove sealing ring of drain screw (2).

   Pour in 

4. Clean thread of drain screw (2) and filling screw (3) in housing of transfer case (1) free of grease using Loctite 7063 cleaning spray.
5. Attach sealing ring on drain screw (2).

   Replace seal.

6. Screw in drain screw (2) and tighten to specified torque .
7. Fill hypoid gear oil using hand pump .
8. Coat first pitch of thread of filling screw (3) with Omnifit 100H quick-acting adhesive.
9. Screw in filling screw (3) and tighten to specified torque .
