	Remove/install
1	Remove front seat and lay down on its side on a suitable surface.	Model 205.4 with code 221 (Electrically adjustable left driver seat) Model 205.4 with code 222 (Electrically adjustable right driver seat) Model 205.4 with code 241 (Memory switch for electrically adjustable front passenger seat, left) Model 205.4 with code 242 (Front passenger seat, electrically adjustable with memory function) Model 205.4 with code 275 (Driver's seat, electrically adjustable with memory function)	AR91.10-P-1000LWR

2	Disconnect electrical connector from seat fore/aft adjustment seat adjustment motor (M27/1, M28/1).
3	Push catch hooks (3) to one side and remove bracket (4).
4	Unclip shaft (2) from brackets of rail (1).
5	Lift seat fore/aft adjustment seat adjustment motor (M27/1, M28/1) slightly at input of shaft (2), carefully bend shaft (2) and pull out of sea adjustment unit.	Do not raise or twist seat fore/aft adjustment seat adjustment motor (M27/1, M28/1) too far. Otherwise the guide pins (5) could be damaged. : Make sure that the seat fore/aft adjustment seat adjustment motor (M27/1, M28/1) is correctly positioned on the guide pin (5) and the shaft (2) in the seat adjustment unit.
6	Remove seat fore/aft adjustment seat adjustment motor (M27/1, M28/1) with shafts (2, 6) from rail (1).	: Make sure that the seat fore/aft adjustment seat adjustment motor (M27/1, M28/1) is correctly positioned on the guide pin (5) and the shaft (6) in the seat adjustment unit.
	Check
7	Pull shafts (2, 6) out of seat fore/aft adjustment seat adjustment motor (M27/1, M28/1) and check for wear.	When replacing seat fore/aft adjustment seat adjustment motor (M27/1, M28/1). If there is a problem, ↓ Replace corresponding shaft (2, 6).
8	Install in the reverse order
