Remove/Install Head Unit - AR82.85-P-1101LWE

MODIFICATION NOTES

25.10.2022 Swivel control unit holder (8) at rear upward so that the hooks (arrows) become detached. Operation step 4.

REMOVINGINSTALLING Remove/install     
1 Switch off ignition and store transmitter key outside of transmission range (min. 2 m).    
2.1 Remove cover from center console. Model 213, 238 with transmission 725

2.2 Remove center console. Model 213, 238 with transmission 716
Model 238 with transmission 716		 AR68.20-P-2000LWO
    Model 213 with transmission 716 AR68.20-P-2000LWA
3 Remove bolts (5).    
4 Remove the control unit holder (8) far enough from the device installation slot that the electrical connectors (3, 4) on the back of the head unit (A26/17) are accessible. NOTES
Do not crush or kink or subject electric lines to tension.
This will result in damage to the electric lines and can impair their function.
IMPORTANT Swivel control unit holder (8) at rear upward so that the hooks (arrows) become detached.		  
5 Release and disconnect electrical connectors (3, 4). IMPORTANT The number of electrical connections (4) may vary depending on the vehicle equipment involved.  
6 Remove screws (7).    
7 Remove head unit (A26/17).    
8 Install in the reverse order.    
9 Perform commissioning of head unit (A26/17). When replacing head unit (A26/17).

10 Calibrate augmented reality camera (B84/14). When replacing head unit (A26/17).
