The following repair materials must be used:
- Zinc dust paint
- Grind mating surfaces down to bare metal in cross-hatched areas on both sides (areas A and B).
- Grind mating surfaces on underside down to bare metal in cross-hatched areas (areas C).
- Remove grinding dust.
- Coat insides of spot weld flanges with zinc dust paint.
Do not coat bonding surfaces with zinc dust paint (areas C).
Otherwise adhesion problems may occur.
Observe pretreatment of bonding surfaces.
