| Remove/install | |||
| 1 | Remove cover above brake fluid reservoir (1) | ||
| 2 | Release and detach electrical connection (2) from brake fluid level switch | ||
| 3 | Unscrew cap (3) and remove sieve from brake fluid reservoir (1) | ||
| 4 | Suction off brake fluid from brake fluid reservoir (1) | ||
| 5 | Detach hose from brake fluid reservoir (1) and seal openings using suitable stop plugs | Model 238 with transmission 716 Protect painted surfaces from brake fluid. Otherwise the vehicle paint can be damaged. |

| 6 | Remove locking pin (4) | ||
| 7 | Pull brake fluid reservoir (1) out of master brake cylinder (5) and seal connections using suitable stop plugs | Collect brake fluid which runs out with an absorbent rag. Otherwise damage can occur to the vehicle paint. |
