| Remove/install | |||
| 1 | Remove paneling from soft top at front. | AR77.31-P-1010LWR | |
| 2 | Move soft top to repair position R3. | AR77.30-P-1030LWR | |
| 3 | Mark installation position of bolts (4) on strip (5). | ||
| 4 | Unscrew bolts (4) from strip (5). | ||
| 5 | Remove seal (6) on outer left and right on rails (7) and remove together with strip (5). | ||
| 6 | Mark installation position of bolts (8) on rail (7) | . | |
| 7 | Remove bolts (8) from rail (7) and remove rail (7). | Align rail (7) according to markings. |

| 8 | Knock off rivets (10) and remove rivet residues. | ||
| 9 | Loosen shackle (11). | ||
| 10 | Remove adhesive strip above end of cable of soft top canvas tensioning cable (1) and unhook cable end. | ||
| 11 | Pull soft top canvas tensioning cable (1) out of front shackle (2) toward rear (arrow A). | ||
| 12 | Move soft top to repair position R2. | AR77.30-P-1030LWR | |
| 13 | Remove screw (12). | ||
| 14 | Pull soft top canvas tensioning cable (1) out of rear shackle (3) toward rear (arrow B). | ||
| 15 | Install in the reverse order. |
