	Remove/install
1	Move soft top to repair position R3.		AR77.30-P-1030LWR
2	Remove paneling from soft top at front.		AR77.31-P-1010LWR
3	Remove dome lamp.	Model 238.4
4	Unhook roof lining (1) at front from hooks (arrows).
5	Knock off rivets (8) on left and remove left tensioning cables of the roof lining (1) from soft top frame.	: Commercially available devices/tools riveter : Observe size of rivets (8).	AR77.33-P-2502-01LWR
6	Remove expansion rivets (9) on front retaining strip (10) and detach front retaining strip (10) from front soft top bow (11).	Dismantling tool	Fig 1
7	Remove expansion rivets (9) on center retaining strip (12) and detach center retaining strip (12) from center soft top bow (13).	If required, slightly close soft top manually. Dismantling tool	Fig 1
8	Remove expansion rivets (9) on rear retaining strip (14) and detach rear retaining strip (14) from rear soft top bow (15).	Dismantling tool	Fig 1
9	Move soft top manually to repair position R5.	: Move soft top to repair position R3.	AR77.30-P-1030LWR
10	Knock off rivet (21) on left and remove rest of rivet.	: Commercially available devices/tools riveter
11.1	Remove expansion rivet (16) from rear roof lining (1).	Model 205.4 up to 5/1/20, 238.4 up to 5/1/20 Dismantling tool	Fig 1
11.2	Remove expansion rivet (22) from soft top frame.	Model 205.4 as of 5/1/20, 238.4 as of 5/1/20 Dismantling tool	Fig 1
12	Pull off piping (17) from soft top bow (18).	: Align piping (17) in center.
13	Pull off piping (19) from rear window (20).	: Align piping (19) in center.
14	Move soft top to repair position R3.	: Move soft top to repair position R5.	AR77.30-P-1030LWR
15	Place roof lining (1) on right side of vehicle and fix in place.	: Position new roof lining (1) on left side of vehicle.
16	Install in the reverse order.	Removal described on left side of vehicle so that an assembled side of vehicle can be used as a reference point during installation.
