1. Cut adhesive beads (1) back to a remaining height of approx. 1 to 2 mm using scraper.
2. Completely cut back residues of spacers (2 and 3) and adhesive bead (1) present in this area.
3. Remove cutting residues using a wet and dry vacuum cleaner.
4. Repair paint damage.

   Use only primer filler approved by Daimler AG: http://xentryportal.i.daimler.com 

5. Apply primer in gluing area if glue residues are not present.

   Apply primer only after primer has dried.

   Otherwise the strength of the adhesive connection can be impaired and proper adhesion of the adhesive material is not ensured.

   The primer is included in the repair kit.

6. After the primer has dried glue on new spacers (2 and 3).
