| 3 | Unclip and remove cover (2) in direction of arrow | Fig 1 | |
| 4 | Open and remove cable tie (7) | ||
| 5 | Turn inside rearview mirror (A67) on mirror base (6) to right with open end wrench and remove from mirror base | Pay attention to windshield when positioning and turning open-end wrench. Otherwise the windshield can be damaged. |
