	Remove/install
1	Remove seat backrest padding (2).	Model 205.0/1/2, 253, 293 with code U22 (Lumbar support adjustment) except code 409 (Left and right front multicontour seat) except code 555 (AMG Performance seats) Model 213 with code U22 (Lumbar support adjustment) except code 432 (Dynamic seats left and right) except code 555 (AMG Performance seats)	AR91.10-P-0003LWE
		Model 205.3/4 with code U22 (Lumbar support adjustment) except code 409 (Left and right front multicontour seat) except code 555 (AMG Performance seats) Model 238 with code U22 (Lumbar support adjustment) except code 399 (Front multicontour seat with massage function)	AR91.10-P-0003CLW
2	Detach cable ties (4).	: Install new cable tie (4).
3	Unhook lumbar support pneumatic pump (M25/4, M25/5) with protective sleeve from seat backrest frame.	The lumbar support pneumatic pump (M25/4, M25/5) must not be removed from its protective sleeve. Otherwise, the lumbar support pneumatic pump (M25/4, M25/5) may be damaged.
4	Disconnect electrical connection (6).
5	Detach electrical connector (7).
6	Unhook lumbar support electropneumatic controller unit (N32/23, N32/24) from spring element (5) and route forward, between seat backrest frame and spring element (5).
7	Route lumbar support pneumatic pump (M25/4, M25/5) forward, between seat backrest frame and spring element (5).
8	Mark installation position of air cushion unit (3) on spring element (5).
9	Unhook and remove air cushion unit (3) from spring element (5).	: Observe markings.
10	Install in the reverse order
