Disconnect/Connect Engine Wiring Harness To Remove Cylinder Head Cover - AR15.18-P-1000-04MND

Engine 276.8 In Model 213, 238 

1. Release and disconnect electrical connection for fuel injectors (1).
2. Release and disconnect electrical connection (2).
3. Release and disconnect electrical connection at boost pressure control pressure transducer (3).
4. Release and disconnect electrical connection on pressure sensor upstream of throttle valve (4) and on pressure sensor downstream of throttle valve (26).
5. Release and disconnect electrical connection on right intake camshaft solenoid (5) and right exhaust camshaft solenoid (6).
6. Release and disconnect electrical connection on right intake camshaft Hall sensor (7) and right exhaust camshaft Hall sensor (24).

7. Release and disconnect electrical connection for right ignition coils (9).

   Shown on engine 276.823 

8. Release and disconnect electrical connection at left divert air switchover valve (10) and at right divert air switchover valve (23).
9. Release and disconnect electrical connection at purging pressure sensor (13).
10. Release and disconnect electrical connection at coolant thermostat heating element (12).
11. Release and disconnect electrical connection at left intake camshaft solenoid (14) and left exhaust camshaft solenoid (15).
12. Release and disconnect electrical connection at left intake camshaft Hall sensor (16) and left exhaust camshaft Hall sensor (17).
13. Release and disconnect electrical connection for left ignition coils (18).

14. Release and disconnect electrical connection for quantity control valve (22).
15. Release and disconnect electrical connection at fuel pressure and temperature sensor (20).
16. Release and disconnect electrical connection at charge air temperature sensor (25).

17. Unfasten electrical wiring harness (27) from mounts (arrow).
18. Remove cable duct (25) from engine and place to one side.
19. Release and disconnect electrical connection for A/C compressor (21).
20. Engine 276.823 in model 213, 238

    Unclip electrical connection for left oxygen sensor upstream of CAT and left oxygen sensor downstream of CAT from holder.

21. Engine 276.823 in model 213, 238

    Unclip electrical connections for right oxygen sensor upstream of CAT and right oxygen sensor downstream of CAT from holder.

    Release and disconnect electrical connection for left oxygen sensor upstream of CAT and left oxygen sensor downstream of CAT.

23. Engine 276.823 in model 213, 238

    Release and disconnect electrical connection for right oxygen sensor upstream of CAT and right oxygen sensor downstream of CAT.

24. Connect in reverse order.
