	Preparatory activity
1	Prepare vehicle for checking/correcting headlamp adjustment.		AP82.10-P-8260-10H
2	Set prescribed degree of inclination of 0.1 % for main headlamps on headlamp aimer (01).
	000 588 11 21 00 Adjustment device	Observe all regulations and specifications in the operating instructions from the headlamp aimer manufacturer. Otherwise, correct headlamp adjustment is no possible.	WS82.00-P-0151B
3	Switch on low beams.	When testing and adjusting the low beams, make sure that the extended fog light function is not active.
4	Open hood.
	Check and, if necessary, adjust (checking and adjustment of the low beams is described at the left low beam headlamp (E1e2); use procedure for left side for right side too.)
5	Check height adjustment of left low beam (E1e2), adjust if necessary.
	000 588 11 21 00 Adjustment device	With a low beam light path and correct height adjustment, the horizontal light-dark boundary (1) of the left low beam headlamp (E1e2) to the left of the center mark (3) must be congruent with the reference line for the height adjustment (2) in the headlamp aimer (01). The colored area of the light-dark boundary (1 of the left low beam headlamp (E1e2) must be above the reference line for the height adjustment (2). If the height adjustment for the left low beam (E1e2) is correct, ↓ No further check necessary, continue with operation step 6. If the height adjustment for the left low beam (E1e2) is not correct, ↓ Turn the adjustment screw for the height adjustment (H) to correct the height adjustment of the left low beam headlamp (E1e2). 	Finishing activity
6	Reset switch positions to input condition.	Only if the high beam setting is not to be checked afterwards.
7	Close hood.
