The following repair materials must be used:
- Apply 2-component adhesive
- Rivets Ø 6.4x12
- Countersunk-head blind rivets Ø 6.4x14.0
- Install fit and fix in place upper rear-end center section (1) and rear wall paneling (2).
- Drill rivet holes in upper rear-end center section (1) and rear wall paneling (2) with drill bit Ø 6.7 mm (areas A and B).
- Countersink rivet holes (areas B).
- Remove upper rear-end center section (1) and rear wall paneling (2).
- Deburr rivet holes in upper rear-end center section (1) rear wall paneling (2) and body on both sides.
- Apply 2-component adhesive to body in cross-hatched areas.
Observe pretreatment of bonding surfaces and manufacturer's specifications for drying and processing time of 2-component adhesive.
- Apply 2-component adhesive on upper rear-end center section (1) in cross-hatched area.
Observe pretreatment of bonding surfaces and manufacturer's specifications for drying and processing time of 2-component adhesive.
- Install and fix in place upper rear-end center section (1) and rear wall paneling (2).
- Rivet rear wall paneling (2) with countersunk-head blind rivets Ø 6.4x14.0 (areas C and E).
Clamping range 2.3 mm to 2.5 mm.
- Rivet rear wall paneling (2) with rivets Ø 6.4x12 (areas D).
Clamping range 2.6 mm.
- Upper rear-end center section (1) and rear wall paneling (2)
(areas F).
