Install Windshield CROSSMEMBER - Ar62.25-P-1120-04LWO

Model 238 

The following operation steps 1, 2 and 3 are shown on the left side of the vehicle and must be performed in the same way on the right side of the vehicle.

1. Install crossmember (1) and mounting console (2), fit and fix in place.
2. Drill rivet holes on crossmember (1) and mounting console (2) with Ø 6.7 mm bit (areas A, B₁ and B₂ ).

   Drill rivet holes through present holes in body (areas B₁ and B₂ ).

3. Countersink rivet holes on body (area B₁ ).

4. Drill rivet holes crossmember (1) and mounting consoles (2) with Ø 6.7 mm bit (areas C).
5. Remove crossmember (1) and mounting consoles (2).
6. Deburr rivet holes on crossmember (1) and mounting consoles (2) and body on both sides.
7. Remove drilling chips.
8. Coat insides of riveted joints with zinc dust paint.

9. Apply 2-component adhesive to body in crosshatched areas.

   Observe pretreatment of bonding surfaces and manufacturer's specifications for drying and processing time of 2-component adhesive.

10. Install crossmember (1) and mounting consoles (2) and fix in place.
11. Rivet crossmember (1) and mounting consoles (2) with Ø 6.4x12 rivets (areas G₁ ).

    Clamping range 2, 22 to 2.25 mm

12. Rivet mounting consoles (2) with Ø 6.5x12.5 rivets (areas G₂ ).

    Clamping range 2, 65 to 3.50 mm

13. Rivet mounting consoles (2) with Ø 6.5x12.5 rivets (areas G₃ ).

    Clamping range 3.75 mm

14. Rivet crossmember (1) and mounting consoles (2) with Ø 6.5x14.5 rivets (areas G₄ ).

    Clamping range 6.42 mm

15. Crossmember (1) and mounting consoles (2) (areas H).
16. Crossmember (1) (area I).

    The following operation steps 17, 18, 19 and 20 are shown on the left side of the vehicle and must be performed in the same way on the right side of the vehicle.

17. Rivet crossmember (1) and mounting console (2) with Ø 6.4x12 (areas D₁ ).

    Clamping range 2.16 mm

18. Rivet crossmember (1) and mounting console (2) with Ø 6.5x14.5 rivets (area D₂ ).

    Clamping range 5.65 mm

19. Rivet crossmember (1) and mounting console (2) with Ø 6, 4x15, 5 countersunk-head blind rivets (area E).
20. Mounting console (2) (area F).
