	Remove/install
1	Move rear axle brake pads into assembly position	Do not operate the service brake while "Move to assembly position" is shown. Otherwise the spindle in the brake caliper (1) will be damaged. The hood must be closed.	AR42.10-P-1710-01LWE
2	Switch off ignition and store transmitter key outside of transmission range (min. 2 m)
3	Remove rear wheel		AR40.10-P-1102A
4	Release and disconnect electrical plug (4)
5	Expose electric line (5)	Model 238 with code 459 (DYNAMIC BODY CONTROL suspension with adjustment damping) Model 238 with code 489 (AIR BODY CONTROL)
6	Expose electric line (6)
7	Remove bolts (3)	Model 238 with code 459 (DYNAMIC BODY CONTROL suspension with adjustment damping) Model 238 with code 489 (AIR BODY CONTROL) Guide pin to brake caliper support or bolt for guide pin to brake caliper	*BA42.10-P-1003-12W
8	Detach brake caliper (1) towards rear from brake caliper support until both bolts (7) are accessible	Model 238 with code 459 (DYNAMIC BODY CONTROL suspension with adjustment damping) Model 238 with code 489 (AIR BODY CONTROL)
		Do not tension or kink brake hose and electric lines (5, 6). Otherwise, the brake hose or electric lines (5, 6) may be damaged.
9	Unclip cover (2)
10	Remove screws (7)	Bolt, actuator motor to brake caliper	*BA42.10-P-1004-12W
11	Remove left electric parking brake actuator motor (M76/1) or right electric parking brake actuator motor (M76/2)
12	Install in the reverse order
13	Carry out brake test on the test stand
