Depending on the equipment variant, a different number of electrical connector sockets may be present on the touchpad wiring harness.
- Remove old touchpad wiring harness (6) from center console cover.
The old touchpad wiring harness (6) is no longer required.
- Connect white 6-pin connector socket (6.1) of new touchpad wiring harness (6) to touchpad (A105).
- Connect blue 6-pin connector socket (6.2) of touchpad wiring harness (6) to right lower control panel (N72/5).
A red/yellow line is installed in contact cavity "1" of blue 6-pin connector socket (6.2).
- Connect blue 6-pin connector socket (6.3) of touchpad wiring harness (6) to left lower control panel (N72/4).
A red/white line is installed in contact cavity "1" of blue 6-pin connector socket (6.3).
- Connect white 20-pin connector socket (6.4) of touchpad wiring harness (6).
- Route wiring harness for touchpad (6) in center console cover.
The white 8-pin connector socket (6.5) is connected when the center console cover is installed.
This establishes the electrical connection for the front center console (X138/1).
